Gilberto Aquino Perez
A self-taught painter. Born in El Salvador, in the heart of a humble peasant family, very hard worked and hospitable people. After he finished his high school in Don Bosco College, in 1972 traveled to Costa Rica, where he settled and has remained. There he decided to cultivate his childhood’s dream: to paint.
He has cultivated several techniques, but acrylic is the one that he actually works with most. His work is characterized for its rich texture. He has presented expositions in Costa Rica and others countries.
